Job Description:
Leads effective meetings with payors, managed care contractors, legal and other Revenue Cycle stakeholders and collaborates with the Revenue Cycle Services Director to resolve issues. Communicates outcomes, effects on aging, ongoing issues and trends to Revenue Cycle stakeholders through presentation and or log review. Qualifications 4 year college degree in business administration, finance or health administration or equivalent industry experience 4-6 years experience and excellent working knowledge of Managed Care Payers and Reimbursement methodology with specific focus on Inpatient and Outpatient Managed Care and Commercial payers Advanced knowledge of Managed Care Payers and Healthcare Claims reimbursement methodologies, practices and procedures including but not limited to applicable Federal, State, and Contractual regulations, such as ERISA and State Fair Claims Practices Acts, and ability to provide value-added Subject Matter Expertise. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates critical thinking and expresses ideas clearly and concisely. Practices attentive and active listening.
