Job Description:
Manage and staff the Group Health Hospice Volunteer Program including recruiting, screening, orienting, training and retaining volunteers. Manage performance recognition activities and the performance improvement process. Provide leadership, direction and policy development for the program. Represent the program with external organizations and institutions. Serve as a consultant to other hospice team members regarding both program and individual volunteer issues. Qualifications Experience requirements Minimum: Experience working with terminal patients, comforting family members and coordinating volunteers. Preferred: Experience in a health care setting. Knowledge requirements Minimum: Interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Preferred: None Education requirements Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Human Services related field. Preferred: Master's degree in Human Services related field. Certification requirements Minimum: None Preferred: None
