This is the top position in our News and Information Center department. Qualified candidates should posses a degree in journalism or communications and have at least three years experience managing a community news operation. Must be very familiar with Macintosh systems, Baseview NewsEdit, InDesign, web publishing and AP style. We are seeking a person who will be a player-coach and lead through example to take our team to new levels in both print and web-first publishing. You will manage a staff of approximately 25 team members plus several correspondents and stringers. We offer medical, dental, vision and a 401k plan plus a generous vacation package. The Greater Holland area is home to approximately 110,000 residents and is located 30 miles southwest of Grand Rapids on the western shore of Lake Michigan.
