Job Description:

Plan and implement activities and maintain safety of children who attend child care; ensure systems are in place for child care staff and families to communicate needs as well as child'e experience during child care; maintain appropriate set up and clean up of areas, and maintain all records and reports relevant to Care Services Program.Family Events - oversee logistics of minimum of four Special Family Recreational/Social Events including initial planning and organization, site scheduling, outreach and publicity, set up and take down, event management and volunteer supervision, and follow up with evaluations.Volunteer Program - determine volunteer needs on an ongoing basis; recruit, train, and supervise volunteers for all activities, and ongoing office volunteers; maintain all records relevant to the Volunteer Program.Participate in the Management Team planning and projects.Qualifications include: must be a clear thinker, very creative and energetic, and have excellent people skills; must have proven communication skills (both verbal and written), strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects at one time. Required knowledge: demonstrated ability to manage special events; work with volunteers in a supervisory capacity.
