Job Description:
Provide monitoring and coordinating of continuous improvement efforts to assure division-wide progress in areas such as auditing, quality costs, quality system, and business process improvement. 1. Manage the divisional quality system program to assure compliance with international and domestic medical devise regulations. Manage internal audit and corrective/preventive actions programs to maintain ISO/EN certification and regulatory compliance. Identify opportunities for improvement throughout the organization. Represent Company to FDA and outside auditors regarding Quality System issues and inquires. Hosts FDA and notified body inspections/auditors. 2. Analyze appropriate company metrics and report on the performance of the Quality System for management reviews. Identify and prioritize areas of high quality cost and participate in strategies planning and targeting these areas for improvement efforts. Routinely review the total Quality System policy and procedures for adequacy and effectiveness with regards to business objectives. 3. Analyze processes identified as needing improvement and assist with identifying and implementing appropriate corrective or preventive actions. Perform GAP analysis on current activities to identify goals for improvement. Initiates, coordinates, and monitors projects focused on improving the quality system, business process, and operational efficiency. 4. Develop and implement effective training and communications programs as needed to achieve and maintain quality system and regulation awareness, ISO certifications, QSR compliance and strategic business objectives. Actively participate in achieving functional goals, quality improvement programs and other programs involving technological innovations.
