Job Description:
We currently have an outstanding opportunity for an Audit Supervisor in our Employee Benefits group to work in our Baltimore, Maryland, Gaithersburg, Maryland or Vienna, Virginia offices. In this role you will be working as a part of a specialized team dedicated to Employee Benefit Plan audit issues, focusing on 401k, profit sharing and defined benefit/ defined contribution plans. The position requires strong technical skills in employee benefit accounting and auditing standards, a general understanding of related employee benefits tax law and solid inter-personal skills. The selected candidate will be a self-starter able to supervise and develop staff, delegate assignments and work well in a team environment. Ability to independently complete an employee benefits plan audit engagement is required. Along with solid interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, this individual will have the ability to present information and ideas in a concise and meaningful way and must be able to prioritize workflow and supervise timely completion of assignments. Qualifications 4 years in public accounting with experience in a variety of industries which must include a minimum of one year plus experience supervising employment benefits/ERISA audits and experience managing multiple engagements. CPA licensure is required or on path to obtain
