Job Description:
You must be fluent in graphic and 3D modeling and rendering digital programs- AutoCAD, Maya, Rhino, Photoshop, Illustrator, and possess excellent three-dimensional modeling skills. A degree in fine arts (sculpture preferred), landscape architecture, architecture or industrial design, and 2 to 3 years experience in an landscape architecture or architecture office are desirable. You should know how a set of construction documents is developed, and have familiarity with construction details used in landscape projects. Position responsibilities include:3D computer modeling and renderings used during the design process and for presentations, primarily in Rhino, AutoCAD and MayaParticipate in concept design, design development and design drawing processProven experience in the construction of digital files and models used to fabricate physical objectsSupervise specific and specialized construction methods with fabricators using geometric data from computer and physical models, stereo lithography, CNC and water-jet cuttingProduce fabrication and construction documents of completed designsMust know how to put together a good construction detail in Auto CAD, be inventive and communicate with fabricators.
