Other responsibilities include oversight of CAD information, archiving and data integrity received from outside consultants. In addition, this CAD Manager will serve as a resource to project team members and is expected to stay informed on best practices with CAD and other design software. Heavy CAD help desk coordination and occasional staff presentations on latest CAD guidelines, advancements and procedures is expected. Successful Candidates: **Excellent AutoCAD and ADT skills **Energetic team player **Possess excellent technology skills and good coaching skills **Strong interpersonal skills **Ability to think strategically about the future of our design technology **Supervision and production of construction documents **Specification writing and project manual compilation **Submittal processing **Construction bidding procedures **Architectural design and space planning capabilities Duties: **Work under the direction of the project manager with a minimal amount of supervisions **Assist Principal-In-Charge and project manager in design, space planning, and documentation of interior and exterior architecture **Provide supervision and quality control of Design Assistants and Interns in preparation of construction documents for interior architecture, exterior architecture and millwork fixtures **Responsible for technical accuracy of construction documents prepared by the firm **Responsible for meeting production schedules **Display thorough knowledge of architectural drafting, detailing, building materials, building codes, accessibility codes, and construction **Capable of performing construction administration tasks: field observation and reports, reviewing and processing contractor submittals.
