Job Description:
Train in required disciplines to enable proper analysis of coverage and liability for an entry level claim representative position. Training will include analysis of policies and contracts, investigation techniques, basic and intermediate legal terminology as well as interpretation of pertinent case law for various jurisdictions. Applicants need to have excellent communications skills and a customer service focus. Training will include various online and in person courses as well as one on one training with licensed adjusters and on the job training. Objective: To become a claim representative able to investigate, evaluate, reserve, negotiate and settle claims in accordance with Best Practices. Provide quality claim handling and superior customer service on assigned claims while engaging in indemnity and expense management. Promptly manage claims by completing essential functions including contacts, investigation, damages development, evaluation, reserving, litigation management and disposition. Education/Course of Study: College degree or equivalent in business discipline preferred Other.
