General Summary Assist the Department Head with the day-to-day operation of the Life Caf©. Supervise and coordinate food preparation with team members. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure Life Caf© team members maintain high customer service standards and prepare menu items according to Life Time Fitness specifications. Major Duties and Responsibilities Member Experience Greet and service members in a courteous and professional manner Prepare menu items to Life Time Fitness specifications Ensure food quality by overseeing food preparation Ensure team members provide a high level of customer service at all times Ensure quick wait times by quickly and efficiently serving members Quickly and efficiently respond to and resolve member concerns Managerial & Supervisory Oversee equipment and Caf© cleanliness and maintenance Constantly emphasize safety and security awareness and ensure team members adhere to OSHA standards and requirements Sight to ensure club is neat and orderly o Sound to ensure music/sound levels are appropriate o Touch to ensure floors, countertops, etc are clean and dry o Taste to ensure the food & beverages in the caf© are up-to-standards o Smell to ensure the club is fresh and odor free Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Education: · Working towards high School diploma or GED Experience: One-year related food and beverage experience Three to five years food and beverage service experience preferred Supervisor or managerial experience preferred Licenses / Certifications / Registrations: · CPR/AED certification received within thirty days of hire Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics Excellent customer service skills Ability to motivate others and foster teamwork Ability to build relationships with members Ability to resolve customer concerns in a professional, tactful manner Ability to multi-task and learn quickly Detail orientated, organized and professional Friendly, outgoing, and able to work with a wide range of personalities Knowledge of nutritional products.
