Job Description: Lead and conduct strategic planning studies and analyses for the Joint Urban Operations (JUO) and other mission areas. Perform Integrated Product Team lead activities in the support of Corporate directed Enterprise activities. Develop CONOPS and other requirements for advanced weapon systems. Interface with Government organizations to define operational doctrine for network centric warfare. Support JUO trade studies, effectiveness/survivability evaluations, and comparative assessments. Assess tactical utility of weapon systems in JUO environment. Act as project or team leader with responsibility to meet project schedule and budget. Participate in technical meetings. Develop tasking, schedules and budgets for team. Present briefings to internal and external customers. Train and mentor less experienced staff. Required Skills: Operational background in operations research, Operational background in tactics development, weapon system employment and knowledge of U.S. military concepts of operations. Analytical background and willing to work in an autonomous capacity and a high dynamic group. Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to lead studies and develop insight from results for assessing tactical utility of advanced weapon system technology. Desired Skills: Databases, graphics, web tools, UNIX operating system, Windows, Microsoft Office are desirable. Experience using combat simulations desirable. Existing Top Secret clearance is desirable. Required Education: Bachelors Degree in Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Applied Physics. Graduate Degree is a plus.
