Job Description:
This position will be based out of our Bloomington , Minnesota location and report directly to the Vice President of Global Quality. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for driving ATMI’s global customer complaint process; Two day complaint acknowledgment Fast complaint updates, internal and external Complaint backlog to goals set Comprehensive & time based follow-up to issue resolution Responsible for customer self assessments and facilitating customer audits; Drive continuous improvement activities identified by customer satisfaction reports, customer audits, internal and certification audits; Establish and maintain global metrics for customer complaints to drive improvements in response and follow-up time to customers; Establish and maintains customer communication channels for regular communication on quality projects, metrics and roadmaps; Partner with management in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and goals; Ensure that customer requirements are being met, in cooperation with sales and marketing activities Utilize the customer facing Asian quality team to ensure customer communication is seamless and timely; Act as conduit to management team regarding significant customer issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and improvement actions; Suggest and debate for alternative methods and procedures in solving problems and meeting changing market opportunities; Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical field; 7-10 years related experience and/or training in a semiconductor equipment manufacture or equipment service related field; 7-10 years of direct experience with global operations, customers.
