Eligible DCIPS employees currently under the DCIPS Interchange Agreement.NSPS Position: This position is covered by the National Security Personnel System.You will serve as Resident Engineer in responsible charge of contract administration and supervision of military construction. Responsible for insuring the timely and satisfactory accomplishment of up multiple contracts individually ranging from a few thousand to several million, including numerous modifications to original contracts involving immediate decisions and instructions to contractors. Construction includes various complex and technical facilities, such as new construction of barracks, mess halls, company administrative and supply buildings, vehicle maintenance shops, concrete paving for air craft parking, air craft refueling systems, flight simulators and renovation of existing buildings and infrastructures. As Administrative Contracting Officer, exercises delegated authority to direct work changes and negotiate and resolve contract modifications.
