Job Description:
To complete these responsibilities, candidate must be comfortable communicating with foreign country controllers who do not have English as a first language. This communication would include data gathering, issue resolution, and coordination of tax planning initiatives. The Tax Manager would also assist the Director of Tax with global tax planning, transfer pricing, and international operations reviews. Moreover, they will work closely with Director and treasury function to assist with global cash management and funds flow around the world. It is expected that the manager stay current and knowledgeable of changing international tax laws to anticipate and recommend changes. This person will need to coach, develop and manage 2-3 subordinates in the Tax department. Skills: Requirements to be considered for the Tax Manager position are as follows Must possess strong analytical skills, and show good judgment; Must have very effective communication skills both verbally and written; Candidate must have a good solid knowledge of U.S. international tax concepts and experience; Candidate must be able to think about issues and ideas in order to generate planning ideas; Strong management skills; ability to mentor and coach others.
