Job Description:
Within the above areas of responsibility, ensure financial reporting and SOX compliance requirements are met. Responsibilities: -Review of sales/use, property, and income tax returns (Federal, State and Local) -Review of gross receipts, annual reports, licenses & other filings -Assist with the preparation of FAS 109 & FIN 48 work papers and documentation -Review SEC filings -Supervise sales, property, income, and payroll tax audits -Maintain tax calendars -Excellent written & oral communication skills -Experience interacting with taxing authorities, consultants, senior management, legal and other departments at all levels within the company, vendors & customers -Maintenance, training and updating of computerized tax programs -Preparation and review of journal entries, monthly tax provision, and account analysis, including reports and closings -Sign all checks and tax returns filed related to the tax department -File Maintenance of tax workpapers -Updating of tax procedural manuals-Must comply with SOX, departmental and corporate internal controls and processes -Must possess and employ the highest ethical and business standards and always conduct himself/herself with the greatest degree of professional integrity -Other duties and responsibilities as required Skills Requirements.
