Job Description:
Responsibilities: - Partner across Sales, Marketing, Product, Compliance and internal and external partners to ensure projects are completed on time with high-quality creative and copy, and an integrated look and feel. - Responsible for implementation of specific integrated direct marketing projects to Retail and Institutional clients. This includes new product launches, direct mail, e-mail, collateral, print and online advertising, events and client communications. - Have a solid grasp on the data selected for each project and to fully understand how that data is being used to support the communications objective of the campaign. - Understand the results of the projects and report to the business. - This person will serve as a day-to-day liaison between the Direct Marketing project managers, the business and all database management providers. - The main responsibilities of this role are to translate business requirements for data pulls, prepare reports, conduct analysis and perform other data-related requirements. Requirements: - A BA degree is required, an MBA degree is a plus. - 4-6 years of experience in an advertising agency or marketing organization role marketing investment products such as exchange traded funds, mutual funds, equity, fixed income, alternatives and hedge funds at a leading retail firm. - Demonstrated experience in all areas of marketing is required with a particular emphasis on direct marketing and collateral development. - Experience with mutual funds and/or other investment products. - Experience with various marketing disciplines with emphasis on direct marketing and collateral development. - Ability to act tactically and think holistically. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with a sense of urgency. - Take a proactive role in managing projects. - Managing a diverse group of senior stakeholders in the business. - Key competencies include expertise in marketing, analysis, project management, budgeting, communication, teamwork, agency management, experience in servicing internal and external customers and strategic thinking. - Outstanding project management and written and oral communications skills. - Demonstrated ability to manage changing requirements and short timelines a plus.
