Job Description:
Responsibilities: - Responsible for bottom line EBIT of the region. - Manages direct reports. - Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. - Organize, Manage Regional Quotations, Ensure Customer, Customer Service and Agent quotes are in sync. - Work with Agents and Customers to access and set prices, evaluate competitive conditions and adjust as needed. - Work with Customer Service, Warehouse Management, Agents, Develop, Maintain Policy and Procedure for the administration, Warehouse and Order entry procedures for the Western Region. - Review new orders verify that they conform to quotes. - Process quality complaints review root cause and implement corrective action. - Manage open Discrepancies, Measure, evaluate Root Cause; determine corrective action with Customer Service, Warehouse and Agents. - Supervises and trains manufacture agents inside and outside sales force. - Develop Agent Marketing Plans, Review and Follow Up on Actions. - Develops marketing strategies & goals for each product by market. - Evaluates product & service marketability in terms of customer technical needs. - Maintains up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets. - Establishes and maintains industry contacts that lead to sales. - Creates and delivers sales presentations and closes sales in a professional and effective manner. - Develops sales proposals for customers. - Participates in sales forecasting and planning. Requirements: - A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA degree is preferred. - 10 years of successful experience in industrial or construction sales and marketing, preferably in the Electrical Industry is required. - 5 years of experience in a management capacity is preferred. - Strong sales background coupled with Product Management or Market Development experience is preferred. - Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills required. - Must have strong customer orientation, good time management skills, and be a strong team player. - Demonstrate problem solving and negotiating skills. - Should have working knowledge of personal computers and commonly used business software (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point).
