Job Description:
This position will manage (direct & functionally) the development and planning team of managers and analysts on a global basis, and be responsible for continuing to build global organizational capability around strategic planning.Additional responsibilities will include:Successfully complete acquisitions and divestitures, overseeing and managing the entire process including:* Strategic planning* Target identification* Strategic rationale for project* Financial valuation* Cross-functional due diligence* Negotiations* Integration PlanningGuide the development of Group and Division strategic growth plans and objectives and counsel Sr. Group Management in the accomplishment of same.Preparation of group presentations to Eaton Board of Directors, the Eaton Senior Leadership Team, market analysts and other audiences relative to the strategic goals, growth and performance.Review complete business cases, with strategic and financial analysis, to frame strategic rationale for all M&A investment decisions.Demonstrate strong interpersonal and relationship skills presenting recommendations to senior executives (e.g., SVP, OVP, CFO level). Develop and lead business development associates. Develop and manage the internal communication of the strategic plan to global Truck organizationReview discounted cash flow valuation analysis for acquisition and divesture opportunitiesBuild global BD and strategic planning organizational capability.A great deal of discretion and proper judgment must be exercised in maintaining the confidentiality of the projects supported by the department.
