Provides sales training and support to new dealers (care and feeding) until business is established and turned over to HVP sales rep. Provide customer presentations as needed on behalf of the new Talon Dealers. III. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field required. Niagara Framework Certification may be required (training provided). 7+ years sales and technical experience, preferably in the HVAC/BAS industry. Prior experience selling the value proposition provided by Talon System or other BAS preferred. Extensive experience dealing or working with Independent HVAC contractors is a plus. Good working knowledge of the HVAC, Lighting and Energy Management industries and advanced technologies in general. Working knowledge of Talon front end(s). Familiar with common communication standards such as LonWorks, BACnet XML, Modbus and TCP/IP. Proven sales and presentation skills. Self motivated, team player with the ability to work independently. Travel required; up to 50% of the time. The position will grow the Talon dealer network by qualifying and signing up new HVAC independent contractors and smart wholesalers. Identifies, screens and provides initial negotiations with third party vendors and coaches division regional staff on Talon BAS related products.
