Supervise the review, investigation, adjustment and handling of aviation related insurance claims by field managers and adjusters. Interact with underwriting providing loss information and analysis. Develop customer relationships for specific accounts while promoting the company. Supervise outside attorneys and investigators. Attend mediations, arbitrations, selected hearings and discovery. Interact with insureds and their insurance brokers. Travel required. Report to Chief Claims Officer. Position requirements: Experience in direct handling, investigation and oversight of complex property and casualty insurance claims. Management and supervision of employees and lower level supervisors/managers in the handling of insurance claims, office operations, and personnel.
