Claims Specialist - Construction Job ID #: CA-AIGCS-KT-CSILA Position Title: Claims Specialist - Construction Location: Functional Area: Insurance Company Name: AIG Domestic Claims Employment Type: Full Time - Regular Education Preferred: High School Experience Required: 3-5 years Relocation Provided: Position Description: Responsibilities: Manages claim file activities involving construction claims including * Set up and maintain schedules, logs, and records * Process and prepare bills for authorization and payment * Key claims information into claims processing systems * Prepare and issue routine or standard correcspondence * Assist customers with iquiries concerning billing and payments. * Other administrative duties as assigned Required Knowledge & Skills * Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills with internal and external customers. * Knowledge of Claim processing and systems * General PC (Microsoft Software Programs) skills Experience * Bachelors Degree Prefered or Equivalent Experience * 2-5 years experience in a claims support function Position Requirements: About AIG: American International Group, Inc.
