The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in overall management of the Processing section of the Zonal Operations Center and will have managers of various work units (i.e. Claim Set Up, Payment Support, Provider Bill Audit, Customer Contact Information Center) reporting directly to this position. The incumbent will also be responsible for the following: · Plan, manage, and evaluate work of Unit Managers, as well as make decisions regarding pay, performance management, employment and staffing. · Monitor volume, staffing levels and efficiency of assigned departments within the Processing section of the center. · Develop solutions to business problems and achieve business objectives.
