Participate in the overall operation of nursing services to ensure high level of nursing competency so that safe, quality patient care is delivered. 4. Oversees hospital wide staffing and facilitates weekly staffing meetings. 5. Supervises the house supervisors, clinic nurse, and nursing admin. 6. Support nursing performance improvement to improve patient care delivery 7. Maintains the nursing procedure manual. 8. Serves as peer review committee chair and oversee the peer review process. 9. Serve on assigned committee meetings to assist in meeting department and facility goals. 10. Health, Safety and Infection Control - Actively support facility and agency safety (including patient safety) risk management, and infection control programs. 11. Serves as a positive influence on retaining staff.
