Job Description:
Process customers' bank account transactions accurately and efficiently, including: deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and check cashing. ~Help customers find solutions to their financial needs by identifying M&T products and services that can meet those needs, and referring the customer to the right person in the branch. ~Take responsibility for resolving customer problems and concerns to the customer's satisfaction. ~Refer complex problems to management. Bank Operations ~Interview, hire and manage teller staff, including handling of employee relations issues and corrective action reports. ~Prepare and deliver performance evaluations for teller staff. ~Manage daily teller and branch operational activities. ~Train teller staff, may schedule staff and delegate work assignments. ~Ensure that branch work is completed in a timely manner. ~Monitor workflow within the branch and serve as a contact between staff and management. General ~Complete special assignments as requested.
