Responsibilities: Maintain, design, and monitor server infrastructure of TSM - Tivoli Storage Manager Responsible for architecture, design, support, and implementation of TSMIT support/Enterprise supportTechnical function responsibilities such as implementation, evaluation, support, and software/hardware troubleshooting within an enterprise environment.Analyze and recommend future needs - forecast trendsSupport the creation of graphical documentation, as well as text-basedConfigure/ implement monitoring & management systems. Setup & Maintainance of TSM server code (storage pools, TSM databases, management classes, performance parameters, recovery logs, and options file). Infrastructure backup management to ensure the integrity of the infrastructure. Patch, install, upgrade, Tivoli Storage Manager technologies.Responsible for planning/coordinating the support/implementation of TSM.Troubleshoot - deployment of TSM software Recommend and implementation of hardware.software updates to enhance systemsROI and cost analysis od recommended hardware and software - providing/documenting justification Responsible forcreation and maintainance of infrastructure standards documentation. DR planning/implementationMulti-vendor troublshooting.
