Requires a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an accredited institution of higher education and licensure to practice in New Jersey. Also requires a minimum of three years of progressively responsible related experience that required some degree of planning, evaluating, and directing day-to-day operations in a complex mental health setting with awareness of longer term and shorter term goals of the supporting institution. Requires demonstrated strength in the area of program evaluation and ability to respond effectively to emergency situations. Requires a proven track record of establishing collaborative professional relationships with a range of mental healthcare professionals including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and trainees who function at a variety of levels. Requires a demonstrated commitment to understanding the implications of multi-cultural psychological practice and experience in doing multicultural psychological work. Previous university or college mental health center experience preferred.
