Job Description:
One of our clients, located in Bensalem PA, is currently in need of an IT Applications Director - Supply Chain & Merchandising. They are looking for someone to direct an IT department of 30-40 personnel consisting of managers, developers, business analysts, and contractors who provide their Supply Chain business partners with software solutions (internally developed, packaged, and vendor services). RESPONSIBILITIES 1) Forecasts and manages over $2.5M in operating expenses, and $6M in Capital expenses, in support of the Supply Chain and Merchandising functions for all brands 2) Develops highly effective business relationships where together you will develop application solutions, determine priorities, and translate these into executable programs/projects 3) Develops and manages strong Vendor partnerships; which include relationship building, operational oversight, contractual management, and strategic planning 4) Manages the Program Management Office (PMO) processes that govern all projects in your area (Including capacity and resource planning, budget planning and adherence, project delivery, issue and risk management, and communication) 5) Ensures metrics are in place to monitor and measure software development activities and ongoing support 6) Develops leaders and technicians within the department through well defined career paths, competency.
