Job Description:

It requires extensive travel to job sites. The incumbent does not have to live in a particular city/area. Drury uses IPM Services (IPM) to help manage the recruiting process. IPM provides candidate management, screening & other recruiting process outsourcing services for Drury. Outside recruiters are required to process candidates through IPM, who will negotiate fees on behalf of Drury. Support Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure that assigned construction projects comply with all applicable engineering standards for design, form, function, and safety. * Coordinate with site civil engineering firms & surveyors as directed * Verify site surveys & grades on projects as directed * Coordinate with engineering testing lab for required concrete & soil testing, etc * Organize and update plans and addenda * File & organize subcontract agreements and records * Organize submittals and shop drawings * Assist superintendent with procurement of tools and materials including takeoffs, pricing, delivery and pickup * Inspect work of other trades to ensure compliance with submittals, shop drawings & plans * Create daily reports for DSW crew & subcontractors * Post and track project schedule * Assist with recording and tracking time of DSW hourly personnel * Learn project codes for costing * Review job cost reports and compare with budget Conduct jobsite inspections to ensure compliance of the following elements (when applicable): * Rebar placement * Post tension cable placement * HVAC block outs & other MEP sleeves * Plumbing layout * Electrical conduits * Concrete placements * Shoring & form work * Fire caulking * Water pollution abatement plan (WPAP) program & guidelines PAP program & guidelines.
