Job Description:
Through contacts with the Ad Work Group, Regional Marketing Communications Directors and/or business line leaders, develop systems for producing in house supportive advertising programs through the Member Marketing Communications group that supports regional and local markets. Participate in the evolution of a KP brand positioning platform that reflects any regional or media market nuances identified through market research. Provide day-to-day direction so that all creative resources reflect the national brand strategy and perceptual goals. In cooperation with Director of National Brand Advertising and National Marketing Research Department, assist in developing systems for measuring effectiveness of creative concepts and final advertising products, as well as tracking performance of broadcast advertising. Requirements for this position include: 10+ years of advertising production experience or directly related experience required preferably in advertising agency, direct response, healthcare or the health insurance environment. Demonstrated experience in the development of brand and/or direct response advertising strategies, advertising production and performance monitoring. Demonstrated experience in developing strategic brand advertising and communications programs and utilizing that information in the development of brand advertising. Demonstrated experience in the development of effective brand planning, identity and architecture systems. Excellent problem-solving, negotiation and decision-making skills. Ability to communicate persuasively and effectively to a wide range of internal and external customers and stakeholders. Knowledge of the dynamics and trends in healthcare delivery systems and models, and of healthcare industry practices. Demonstrated experience in identifying and working with advertising vendors in the production of complex, high quality campaigns. Thorough knowledge of advertising strategy, planning and budgeting, as well as various forms of communication. Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing Communications or related field or equivalent experience required. Master's degree preferred.
