Bader Rutter is seeking a talented Senior Media Planner/Buyer to join their team. This person will provide strategic media planning counsel as well as buying and stewardship for national blue-chip accounts. Negotiate and place Print, TV, Radio, OOH and Online media. Requires coordination of business between Associate Media Directors, Media Director and Account Management teams. Strong strategic thinker and presenter who will frequently present plans to clients, field questions internally and externally and support overall communication planning process. Job description includes Report directly to Associate Media Director Develop annual media plans providing effective strategies and tactics Present recommendations to clients Negotiate strong media packages that provide relevance, value and added-value components Ability to provide strong POV's for continuing client opportunities as they arise Effectively steward all business from concept through to making sure media are paid Prepare qualitative research analysis as required using syndicated research sources Present media orientation programs to new clients Work effectively with other department including Account Management, Creative, Relationship Marketing, Digital Solutions and Brand Management. Requirements: To apply, one must have minimum of four years of strategic planning experience, as well as local media buying experience. Previous experience in agency setting preferred. Someone who is outgoing and energetic that can work in a team setting.
