Job Description:
Plans, schedules and conducts on-site training of branch personnel (Sales Associates, Assistant Managers and Branch Managers) in the Retail Banking Branch Division. Works closely with the appropriate Manager and Region Managers to identify specific training needs of individuals. *Recommends appropriate action to be taken or additional training needed when trainees? performance does not meet standard requirements needed for management position. *Develops and maintains expertise in TCF?s product lines, services, sales, customer service and operations to facilitate accurate training of branch personnel. *Provides bi-weekly status updates to appropriate manager and Division Management Team of all trainees. Provides detailed recap of training completed and outstanding needs of trainees after completion of on-site training program. *Reviews corporate training materials regularly and provides recommendations for enhancements to the training process as well as to materials, as appropriate. *Serves as a mentor for demonstrating and developing appropriate knowledge and skills set necessary for effective customer relationships. *Assists Region Managers on coaching branch management teams on expected behaviors.
