Dot Connect Online Media Planner Location: IL - Moline Job Type: Interactive Media/Online Division: TownNews.com Status: Regular Description: Dot Connect Media Planner TownNews.com seeks a driven Online Media Planner to join our team in Moline, IL. This position is responsible for developing media plans, contacting newspapers, negotiating advertising rates, customer relationship development and maintaining advertising sales CRM systems. Other responsibilities include all basic reporting functions for the team, implementation tracking, working with Traffic Department to troubleshoot discrepancies and technical issues and project work as needed. The successful candidate will be independent, results-focused with the ability to multi-task and must possess superior verbal and written communication skills. Candidate must have solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. A familiarity with HTML, Flash, rich media and database systems is strongly desired. BA/BS degree and experience in online advertising, ad agency and/or online media operations preferred. DotConnect Media is a TownNews.com enterprise.
