Evaluate changes in financial circumstances including loss of a job or other financial reversals. - Exercise professional judgment for individual cases in the awarding of federal, state and institutional funds. - Prepare reports related to the assigned role such as Massachusetts state year-end report, work-study reconciliation, etc. - Ensure regulatory compliance in the awarding of aid. - Contribute to the development of needs policies and procedures. - Review and approve requests for cash advances. Additional Qualifications -A Bachelor?s degree is required. -Experience working with Powerfaids and Jenzabar EX is strongly preferred. -1-3 years experience in the field of Financial Aid. -Strong customer service and counseling skills necessary. -Occasional weekend and evening work required.
