Job Description:
Development programs with academic programs to maximize student progress and success.* Oversees the implementation and administration of new student orientation.* Counsels or advises individuals and groups on matters pertaining to personal problems, educational and vocational objectives, social and recreational activities.* Reviews reports of student misconduct cases that require disciplinary action to ensure recommendations conform to university policies.* Responsible for crisis intervention and referral of students for on and off-campus professional counseling and for personal follow-ups on students involved in volatile situations.* Develops and manages departmental budget.* Represents the University in community on matters pertaining to student personnel programs and activities.* Regularly communicates with various student service offices and University leadership.* Other duties as assigned.* Education and/or Experience: Master's degree from four-year college or university, or equivalent; and four+ years related experience and/or training preferred.*
