Full TimeLangan has an immediate opening for a Civil Engineer / Planner Project Manager at our Tallahassee, Florida office. As the successful candidate, you will be working on multiple small and large-scale projects and must have diverse and proven civil engineering experience. You will be working on designing properties for commercial, mixed, warehouse and residential use. You will be responsible for managing people and projects, as well as developing new work and maintaining client relationships. Requirements: * Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering (M.S. preferred); * Florida Professional Engineer license;* Florida Professional Planner license with AICP certification (desired);* 15 years experience in site/civil land development design including site planning, layout, grading, drainage and stormwater management;* 10 years civil land development experience local to Tallahassee or Panama City, FL;* Proficient in Florida water management, state and municipal design requirements and regulations;* Demonstrated ability to manage staff and multi-discipline projects;* Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, possess the desire and ability to develop new clients in the Panhandle area, and expand the services of existing clients;* Strong communication, analytical and judgment capabilities;* Self motivated and the ability to motivate others.
