Job Description:
High school (G.E.D.) required. NM Life and Health License required. One to three years managed care experience plus specialized short-term training in claims processing, customer service, or enrollment processing. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person, via telephone, and in writing with the public, including members, agents, and employers. Must be able to work closely with other team members and function efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines. Primary Job Functions * Obtains qualifying information from employer groups and members to certify eligibility for renewal and enrollment. * Sells and retains commercial membership in assigned territory at a minimum level of monthly quota * Sells annual contract renewal to clients and agents for assigned book of business. Retains existing commercial clients at a minimum level of monthly retention quota. * Maintains expert knowledge of and enforces the terms of the Group Letter Agreement and Group Subscriber Agreement with employers and members. * Resolves customer issues through individual efforts and through coordination of cross-departmental efforts. Ensures that all issues are acknowledged and resolved within established time periods * Executes a proactive service schedule with clients according to established protocols to include enrollment meetings and new group orientation to PHP Administrative Manual. * Presents and communicates effectively to a variety of audiences. Educates clients on products, services industry trends, regulatory updates and Presbyterians position on issues. * Maintains positive relations with clients and agents. Conducts 100% of enrollment meetings in compliance with NCQA criteria. * Performs 100% of work processes according to established procedures and within predetermined deadlines. * Adheres to ethical standards of a licensed agent as well as Presbyterian Health Plan\'s Code of Ethics, Goals, and Strategies. * Assists Large Group Service Coordinator with development, maintenance, and distribution of PHP Administrative Manual. * Performs other functions as required
