Full TimePosition Purpose: Responsible for achieving financial and customer satisfaction goals for IMS Information and Analytics (I&A) services for key customer(s) in Northern New Jersey. Responsible for indirect management of team of Account Managers. Principal Accountabilities: Responsible for achieving/exceeding the assigned revenue and growth goals in assigned accounts or sales territory. Takes proactive role in contract strategy. Develops strategy for expanding scope of existing I&A contracts and identifying new business and win-back opportunities. As required, may lead negotiations in renewing multi-year contract(s) within assigned accounts. Develops relationships with key executives and decision makers within assigned accounts. Manages the overall relationship to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Provides leadership, coaching and mentoring to the sales team and coordinates the involvement of IMS resources (marketing, client services, Specialty Sales) in actively promoting the I&A portfolio of products to anticipate and meet client needs. Works closely with Account Executive to develops and execute account plan(s) and monitors progress. Adjusts plan accordingly to consider IMS new I&A product/service offerings as well as significant changes to business conditions. Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required: BS/BA required with more than three (3) years relevant sales or account management experience. Extensive knowledge of IMS HEALTH core I&A products, customer account management, and IMS information solutions/consulting services portfolio, and pharmaceutical industry is required. Additional Requirements: Problem solving, negotiation, Account Planning, relationship building, presentation, written and oral communication skills are essential. Able to set vision and direction. Able to influence outcomes. Requires team-orientation.
