The Account Manager Nurse supports the mission of the hospital by handling day-to-day processing of orders from accounts that are to be discharged. As appropriate, reviews patient data to determine the suitability of the pending orders of care for outpatient services. Utilizes a clinical reasoning process to insure appropriate orders are placed onto the next active patient account. Works closely with the business office to ensure patient account management is done timely in order to maintain time appropriate billing of accounts. Requirements: Active OK LPN License - will also consider RNs Three years clinical oncology experience 1 year case management, utilization management and/or similar experience Excellent organizational skills Ability to utilize critical thinking and apply sound clinical judgment and assessment skills for decision-making Courteous, professional demeanor Excellent customer service skills
