Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages Corporate payroll unit activities ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing; manages and trains internal payroll staff; and assigns workloads. Prepares tax gross-up for relocations, special pays, and related documentation for IRS. Maintains payroll tax files and correspondence with state and local tax jurisdictions; initiates and coordinates tax research with ADP and tax agencies; and audits state and local tax withholding requirements in related system(s). Ensures that more complex internal payroll actions are performed accurately. Researches and resolves report or data discrepancies identified by Colleague Resources (CR) and Finance staff. Educates CR staff on payroll related issues. Adheres to the goal of delivering and maintaining the highest quality of customer services to internal clients Supports the Total Performance Management initiative.
