Job Description:
The Physician Practices Finance Director is responsible for owning, managing, and driving the budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis functions within all affiliated practices. The Director's most significant functions are to optimize financial performance. This includes analyzing ROI, diagnosing issues, identifying opportunities and executing corrections. Also streamlining financial and operational performance. Major activities coordinated by this position include the annual budget and variance analysis, forecast, financial statements and distilling financial and other information into remedial action plans. The Director will work collaboratively with management team in all areas of responsibility to ensure the organization is focused on current results verses budget, current financial performance trends and the identification and execution of initiatives to properly manage performance. Participates in development of strategic plans and is responsible for accomplishment of operational objectives. A bachelor's degree in business/accounting required. Five (5) years financial management experience in a healthcare / physician practice environment. Proficient in Microsoft applications and general computer skills. Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.Licensure: Active CPA license required.
