This position involves the ability to assess, plan and facilitate options and services to meet the members’ and physicians needs. It requires the ability to use available resources in a timely manner to promote high-quality cost-effective care. The case manager is responsible for working collaboratively with the member, physician, and healthcare team. This position applies the standards of practice and performance in the work setting to achieve positive outcomes and ensures the performed activities are in compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations. Job Requirements PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Requires being licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Missouri. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with physicians, office managers, office staff, administration staff, executive management, patients, consultants, government agencies and the general public. Must possess effective written and oral communication skills. Ability to multi-task, complete a high volume of work on deadline, and follow through on assigned tasks with limited supervision. Attention to detail essential. Excellent time management and organization skills. Computer proficiency in Windows / Word environment. Mature professional attitude and appearance.
