Job Description:
Establish relationships with appropriate colleges, universities, trade schools, associations, employment offices, etc., to assist in recruiting needs.• Promote, manage, and modify as appropriate the internal job referral program for the highest impact. 2) Improve Potential and Capability of Talent Pool (Hiring)• Create a hiring procedure that promotes selection of the highest quality candidates.• Create and effectively utilize a filing system for resumes/applications to be tracked and used for future needs.• Maintain a pool of qualified candidates.• Research and implement appropriate new hire assessment tests.• Research and implement appropriate pre-hire driving/background checks.• Establish a method by which employment reference checks are completed before hiring candidates.• Develop a system to assist remote locations with hiring needs.• Manage employment advertisements (quality, vehicles, used, budgets) for the Company.• Develop and maintain a quality internal Job Posting system.• Implement interview training for appropriate personnel.• Establish structured interviews where appropriate, to assist in thorough assessment of candidates.• Monitor Company use of temporary agencies to fill short term and permanent needs.• Minimize use of temporaries through effective recruiting/hiring procedures and working with managers to look at other alternatives.• Create and issue all employment letters that are sent to candidates being offered a job. 3)
