Our client is seeking an experienced and savvy Software Engineering Manager who will be responsible for business application development function. This position will be based in Rochester, NY. Position DetailsThe chosen candidate will manage business application development functions Including: business systems architecture, integration/interfaces, Commercial Off The Shelf and custom development, and production support Key internal customers - Manufacturing, Supply Chain/Purchasing, Engineering, Finance, and Sales organizations ERP COTS applications include QAD Mfg/Pro and interfaces to PeopleSoft, Siebel, Agile, and Authoria Mfg COTS applications include Freedom, Unicam, PickPro, Aegis, MIPSIS Key applications within Unix and NT platforms Relational databases - Progress, SQL, and Oracle Web development environment - ASP.net, C#, SQL server Various customizations to COTS applications and various custom developed stand-alone applications Manage permanent and temporary staff Permanent staff of 11- (2 systems architects), (6 systems analysts and developers) and (3 production support).
