Job Description:
The ASM will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategy while serving as the resident automotive expert providing expertise and knowledge about the automotive industry, develop and implement training programs for Account Executives who call on local dealers and lead local account executives in growing cables share of automotive revenues.Major Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with sales managers and the DOS on annual sales budgets, goals and targets in the automotive categorySupport regional and national sales efforts when appropriate, and manage Vehix dealers throughout the cable ad sale territory with AEs and sales managers, lead sales meetings, train AEs on automotive retention processes, and all intricacies of the Vehix tools and product offeringTrack dealer spending, growth, averages and identify trends in dealer spendingLead and train AEs in finding the best opportunity for new business and upgrades among the markets dealer universeMake joint sales presentations to auto dealers promoting the power of cable advertising and Vehix programServes in a training and consultative role to sales managers and account executives marketing the combined cable advertising/Vehix programTravels as necessary to industry trade shows and Vehix sales strategy meetingsServes as liaison between ad sales and Vehix management and technical staffAttends major trade show functions.
