Job Description:
Account Manager (Federal Civilian) This person will be responsible for ensuring excellence in delivery of results-oriented full life cycle business development activities, including target identification, strategic planning, capture strategies, management support of bid and proposal resources, proposal management, contract award and ongoing customer relations. This person partners with corporate account staff and group peers and group delivery managers to ensure effective use of business development resources across the enterprise as well as identifying and responding to key customer relationship needs. This person collaborates with counterparts across Client to ensure best of breed solutions are brought forward to customers. This person identifies and mentors new Small Business partners and works with them to help identify appropriate SB opportunities for joint pursuit; provides additional expertise in other new business matters including: strategic planning, competitive intelligence and market analysis; and acts as key member of the senior leadership. Specific Job Duties:Develop and manage relationships with current and new markets including existing and potential customers and industry partners Establish and maintain account strategic plans for targeted segments of the federal market place Meet and maintain liaison with senior government officials in federal market Target, qualify, and capture new business opportunities Network with peers in other groups to support them if in an assistance mode.
