Job Code: RMHMA1001 We are currently looking for Sr. Auditors, Audit Managers and Experienced Audit Staff in our Los Angeles and/or Woodland Hills. Audit Senior and Manager must be able to work independently and in teams focusing on reviews of financial statements. The Los Angeles/Woodland Hills offices serve practice areas in SEC, Manufacturing and Distribution, Financial Services, Health Care, Real Estate, Not for Profit, Employee Benefit Plans, and Royalty Compliance. Responsibilities: * Daily supervision of Audit Staff during fieldwork, meetings and in house work * Assisting in creating draft financial statements and related disclosures *Creating draft audit and review reports and material weakness letters for management review *Performing analytical procedures, control testing, and substantive testing for audit engagements *Communicating detailed analysis of audit findings to Audit Manager or Partner *Working within budgetary and time constraints *Monitoring and reporting the productivity of staff and adherence to work plan schedules to Audit Manager or Partner *Working with Managers and Partners in the areas of risk assessment, planning audit engagements and developing audit reports *Keeping informed of GAAP, GAAS and industry developments and their effects on audit engagements *Communication Developing an understanding of the client's business *Be able to address concerns and offer resolution services to our clients in a timely manor. Qualifications: *Minimum of 2 years of audit experience in public accounting for Staff and 5 years for Sr. Associates and Management. *Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business *CPA (or demonstrated progress toward obtaining CPA) BIG 4 is a plus *General knowledge of GAAP and GAAS *Excellent written and oral communication skills *Integrity and professionalism We would like to see candidates form TOP firms or BIG 4 firms.
