This company is seeking a Consolidation Manager who will be responsible for the consolidated financial statements. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (also based in New York), the position offers high visibility within the company's Finance function and to senior management, ample opportunity to learn all areas of the controllership of this international organization, exposure to international business process and culture; and a high level of responsibility with a wide breadth of tasks to challenge the successful candidate. The qualified Consolidation Manager will control the overall consolidation process ( 10 entities located throughout the world) which consists in issuing group consolidation instructions, provide field support on new IFRS pronouncement, review consolidation and elimination entries, and ensure that the firm's accounting policies and procedures are being maintained and are in compliance with statutory requirements, especially IFRS The Consolidation Manager will manage communication with legal auditors and be responsible for coordinating the audit and review process. In addition, the candidate will oversee and direct review of the corporate bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting work performed by the Finance Coordinator, including review of the processing and class coding of bills, check payments, deposits, and credit card transactions. The ideal Consolidation Manager must have a Degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA and/or CPA is preferred but not required, 8-10 years experience with Finance & Accounting in both public accounting and private companies.
