The Steakhouse, America's best steakhouse, is conducting a search for a Payroll Manager in their corporate office located in downtown Chicago. This person will be responsible for the following; *Supervising payroll for 80 restaurants in multiple states *Working with ADP payroll system to manage all aspects of multi-state payroll to ensure employees are paid accurately and timely, including deductions and withholdings *Maintain controls and compliance with corporate policies *Provide ad-hoc reports and analysis *Maintain accurate payroll records and implement new processes to improve productivity *Ensure accurate and timely tax reporting & compliance with state & federal regulations *Update and implement improved payroll procedures as newer methods become available *Provide support to operations, Accounting and Human Resources and be able to work with these departments effectively *Hire, train, motivate and develop payroll staff Minimum Requirements for position: *5 years of experience in high volume, multi-state payroll operations *5 years of supervisory experience in a Payroll department *Extensive ADP Enterprise experience *Reportsmith experience *Electronic time keeping experience *Degree in Business or related field.
