Manager Revenue Accounting Position Description This is a key leadership position within the Accounting Operations team, reporting to an Accounting Senior Manager. The Accounting Operations team is responsible for preparation and maintenance of accounting records, monthly accounting close activities and accounting variance analysis. Ensuring that our books are closed timely and accurately in compliance with our accounting policies, that accounting estimates are appropriate given the risks and uncertainties involved, and that our accounting records contain the information necessary to meet our reporting requirements to internal management, for tax compliance and T-Mobile International and Deutsche Telekom reporting requirements. This team also has responsibility for the development, modification and maintenance of internal controls within these accounting processes to ensure the accuracy and objectivity of our financial records including SOX requirements. The Manager of Revenue Accounting is responsible for managing a team that accounts for the revenue earned from our postpaid subscribers. This includes accounting ownership and analysis of multiple revenue streams, subscriber bad debt, revenue reserves, joint venture and wholesale activity and subscriber-related balance sheet accounts.
