Job Description:
A high-profile company is looking for experienced Ruby on Rails developer. Minimum of 1 year RoR development, 3 years general Web development. Will develop community and user-generated-content applications for a Web site in the health and wellness space. Will need to work well in Agile/XP environment (test-driven development, continuous integration, pair programming, short release cycle, SCRUM, etc.).

Primary Responsibilities

• Excellent communication skills and ease with customers a MUST.
• Must have track record delivering database backend Web applications.
• Experience with JavaScript libraries such as JQuery and Prototype a plus.
• Experience implementing RESTful solutions in Rails 2.0.
• Must have experience in writing unit tests for both controllers and models in either RSpec or TestUnit.
• Java experience a plus.
• Oracle a plus.
